Acht van Bladel

 

Social Media

For the past three years, I’ve been in charge of the social media presence for Acht van Bladel, an annual international junior professional cycling race in the Netherlands. Each year, I take over the event’s online content and communication in the weeks leading up to and during the race.

I was part of a small media team where I took the lead on the creative side. I worked on the content strategy, planned campaigns, and came up with ideas to get people more engaged. I also took care of scheduling and posting, and worked closely with three teammates on creating content like videos, edits, and visuals.

Through consistent storytelling, trend-driven content, and strategic use of Reels and TikTok, we managed to double our Instagram following, with individual videos reaching between 200K and 400K views. We also launched a TikTok account that gained 1,000+ followers within just a few weeks.

This project allowed me to combine creative direction, strategy, and hands-on content production. It’s a great example of how I work with platforms, trends, and audiences to grow a brand in a way that feels both fun and professional.
