Hello, I’m Kris
A Dutch media designer with a passion for tactile creativity, visual storytelling, and the aesthetics of slow living. I draw inspiration from handmade crafts, food culture, the mountains, and creating experiences that bring people together.

After earning my Master’s degree in Media Design in Austria, I spent a season working as a ski instructor, where I fell even more in love with alpine culture, hospitality, and human connection.

During my studies, I focused on visual storytelling, creative strategy, and hands-on production. One of my favorite projects was co-creating an exhibition experience from concept to execution. Designing not just the visuals, but the atmosphere and sense of togetherness around it.

I feel most in my element when ideas start taking shape: designing, refining details, and building visual worlds that feel thoughtful and inviting. A lot of my inspiration comes from observing online culture and aesthetics through platforms like Pinterest, TikTok, and Instagram.

Alongside client and design work, I enjoy exploring personal creative projects: from knitting content on TikTok to visual experiments around food, craft, and lifestyle storytelling.

Having lived, studied, and worked in the Netherlands, Finland, and Austria, I’ve had the opportunity to connect with creatives from many different backgrounds. That mix of perspectives continues to shape my work: open-minded, collaborative, and internationally inspired.

The atmosphere I strive for is a bit like a favorite cozy coffee shop: welcoming, creative, and full of thoughtful details. I want my work to carry that same feeling: warm, aesthetic, and approachable.
