Acht van Bladel
Graphic Design
For the Acht van Bladel cycling event, I designed all the graphic materials from start to finish, including promotional posters, event signage, and the rider roadbook. I handled the entire process independently, taking requests from the organization while having full creative freedom to shape the visual identity of the event.
My focus was on creating designs that are both visually appealing and highly readable, ensuring that every poster, sign, and roadbook page fits seamlessly within the event’s branding. This included everything from the finish line banners to directional signs, as well as elements in the feed and waste zones, designed to be clear and engaging for riders and spectators alike.

I mainly used Adobe Illustrator for all signage and promotional materials, and Adobe InDesign for the roadbook. The feedback from riders was very positive, they appreciated how clear and well-designed the signs were, noting that they were easier to read and follow than at other races they’ve attended.
This project allowed me to combine my love for visual storytelling with practical design, creating materials that enhance the event experience while connecting with the audience. I especially enjoy seeing the reactions my work gets, and knowing that it makes the event easier and more enjoyable for everyone involved.
